Our 100 Hearts Campaign is a call to action.

Since 2020, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey Bruce & Western Simcoe (BBBSGBWS) has tripled in size and reach. Having once serviced a handful of youth in Owen Sound direct, BBBSGBWS has grown to service hundreds of youth annually, with nine distinct programs and services reaching across three counties.

This year, BBBSGBWS has witnessed a sharp increase in youth seeking services while simultaneously a noted reduction in volunteer acquisition. This has had a tremendous impact on how the agency operates and how we work to reach those youth and families most in need.

With a small team and limited resources, the agency has responded with the development of five new programs in just two years, aimed at supporting those youth waiting for a one-to-one match. Despite witnessing positive outcomes resulting from these programs, our agency knows too well that we are only as strong as the communities we serve and the volunteers who make our mission possible.

Our 100 Hearts Campaign is a call to action.
The BBBSGBWS Staff and Board are seeking community support to match 100 youth with local volunteers by the end of 2024.

To understand just how impactful your support can be, we ask you to take the time to look at this page, spread the word, and consider getting involved by becoming a volunteer.

If you are unable to volunteer, but would like to support our agency please consider donating.
