This year we asked the people of Grey Bruce to put on their baking hats and tie up their aprons to join us for our inaugural Bake for Kids’ Sake-virtual baking event.

Bakers of all ages enjoyed baking from the comfort of their own home, while they competed for the chance to be named the Creative Genius. Participants worked hard on making, building and decorating their house or cookie creations, which made it difficult for our judges Julia Manina (morning host of Country 93), Bill Walker (MPP) and Tony Bevan (Chef at Georgian College) to choose the winners.

As a result of the efforts of our bakers and the assistance of our sponsor, we were able to raise over $3,000!

During this very different year, we are very grateful we were able to come together virtually and have some fun!
